平間至（ひらま いたる）
1963年、宮城県塩寵市生まれ。生家は祖父が開業した写真館。日本大学芸術学部写真学科を卒業後、写真家・伊島薫氏に師事。1995年、写真集『MOTOR DRIVE』を出版。タワーレコード「NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.」のキャンベーンポスターをはじめ、多くのアーティストの撮影を手掛ける。2006年よりゼラチンシルバーセッションに参加。2008年より「塩竃フォトフェスティバル」を企画・プロデュース。2012-21年、塩竃で音楽フェスティバル「GAMA ROCK FES」を主宰。2015年、東京で平間写真館TOKYOを開業。現在、東京を拠点に活躍中。音楽に強い影響を受けて育った平間は「写真と音楽」を普遍的なテーマとし、30 年以上にわたって第一線でカルチャーシーンを牽引しています。

Itaru Hirama was born in 1963 in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture. His birthplace is a photo studio opened by his grandfather. After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Photography, he studied under photographer Kaoru Ishima. 1995, published his photo book “MOTOR DRIVE”.He has photographed many artists, including the Tower Records “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.” campaign posters.He has participated in the Gelatin Silver Session since 2006.Since 2008, he has planned and produced the Shiogama Photo Festival.In 2012-21, he organized a music festival “GAMA ROCK FES” in Shiogama, and in 2015, he opened Hirama Photo Studio TOKYO in Tokyo.He is currently based in Tokyo.
Hirama grew up strongly influenced by music, and with “photography and music” as his universal theme, he has been leading the cultural scene at the forefront for over 30 years.
